• Administrative Assistant - Want to work more “behind the scenes”? Support us with all of the work of the Client Team…except the interaction with clients! You keep our center up and running in a welcoming and efficient manner. 
• U-Crew - Are you a “handy” man or woman? Lend a hand with maintenance, repairs, heavy-lifting, outdoor beautification – anything that takes a little sweat and ingenuity. Regular light cleaning and upkeep of center.

    Internships 

    Take credit! We offer internships in the following fields and will work with you to craft projects or meet your school’s
    requirements to achieve course credit while you help us help babies.

• Speakers’ Bureau - Tell the truth – to our clients, local students, and supporters. This team provides education and outreach by serving as a speaker/educator, or by supporting them in the background by scheduling and serving at one of our events.

    Behind the Scenes 

• On-Call Volunteer - Looking for an occasional or one-time volunteer opportunity with little commitment? Could you volunteer with us with as little as two days notice? Sign up to be on our list and we’ll contact you when needed. Provide support in wide variety of duties for projects that arise, like mailings, or when extra help is needed at an event. 
• Fundraiser - Help us develop the most effective strategy to stay afloat and thrive. Work with the Special Event and Promotions teams to manage and implement effective and efficient fundraising activities. 
• Marketer/Promoter - Get the word out: about us, our services, our events, and our needs! Help us with marketing, outreach, graphic design, literature distribution on and off campus, table staffing at the U of MN and events, or even as a speaker on a variety of topics. 
• Special Events - Adopt a fun and fruitful fundraising/promotional event that becomes your “baby” from start to finish! With the ULCC staff, you can plan, manage, and implement an annual or new event, or be a part of the volunteer committee that will pull off the event. 
• Volunteer Coordinator - Help us to recruit, train, track, coordinate, supervise, reward, and love all of these great volunteer teams for their work building a Culture of Life through the ULCC. 
• Computer/Network Administrator - Help us to avoid inefficiencies and loss of data by keeping our computers and network in much better shape than we could do on our own. 
• Driver - Go out and about to our regular donation sites to collect the items we get for free – from baby items to food for (hooray!) our volunteers and guests. 
• Web Assistant - Work in the comfort of your own cyberspace to keep our site looking spiffy and to update our information on the variety of sites on which we post information to attract volunteers, donors, and clients.
